We are sad because we will miss him , yet we rejoice knowing that Danny is finally at home in Heaven, where there is no sorrow or pain. May our God lift us up too and give us strength now and in the days ahead. And may His peace that passes all understanding comfort our hearts and minds in Christ, knowing that Danny is now at peace and with our Lord.
Dave and I will continue to keep you all lifted up in our love and prayers. Diana Hartling

He called me “brat” many times growing up, always in a loving, fun, comical manner. I’d like to think he thought I was one of four angels near him in the end. My mom, grandma and sister had the honor of standing by his side in his final days. Despite the circumstances, it is a time I will cherish, like so many others from my childhood with “Uncle Danny”. I am happy he will be reunited now with my daddy and I am very proud of both those Marines. Forever in our hearts….
Sister Marilyn Merry Christmas. Miss you. xo says
