Miss Susie has been a special person in my life for 43 years. I have always loved and admired how much she cared for others. She always did what she could to meet the needs of others and she showed us how to do the same. She wasnt a rich woman (Materially speaking) but she used and shared what she had to help others. She truly had a servants heart and I KNOW that she heard Well done my faithful child! She will be forever in our hearts and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

When I was little I use to wait by the road everyday until my granny came home from work she always had something for me.. My granny use to tell me now kay-Kay when u grow up u need to be in church u need to raise ur family in church…Because the lord his self will always be there he will never let U down and I remember saying u won’t either granny. She laughed and said I will letu down i am only human. To this day my granny never ever let me down. If I had to remember one thing about my granny it would be the prayers she prayed.. I use to call her and say granny I need prayer again.lol she always prayed for any and everyone.. I use to tell her if I have a little girl I am going to name her Suzi and I want her to be just like u… Well I do have a little girl and her name is Suzi Chatas..I will never ever forget the day I put my little girl in my granny’s arms and introduce her to granny as Suzi she looked up at me and with tears in her eyes and she said this is my name sake Suzi.. My granny was the only person that could call my son Steven (Stevie) lol.. My granny and I always had a special bond she was and still is my granny.. My very first memory of my Grandma was shortly after my Father died when my mother was alone with three children and had no idea about the real world except for farming, and Grandma took us in. She went to church every sunday and I went with her sometimes, hand in hand we walked to the church, me a toddler and her a proud grandmother humming christian songs and talking to me the whole way. The first song I ever learned was when the roll is called up yonder during this time. Later We moved to Auburndale and practically every year she would buy Christmas Gifts for us three and keep them for us until we could come to her house or she would bring them personally with some of my aunts, this went on until I was a young adult I know. She was a very loving christian person and the best grandmother a person could possibly have I love her very much

Grandnanny was the greatest example of what a godly woman should be. She is dancing in the meadows of Heaven with Jesus and all of the Heavenly hosts! Until we meet again, I will try to make you proud by living through your example. I am praying for the family! God bless you all and I love you all!
