Dear Nancy & Barbara,
I just learned of the passing of your mother and father when I found your mother’s obituary online. I had lost touch with them when the Christmas cards I sent in the last few years were returned to me by the post office. I didn’t know how to find out about them since my sister, Shirley, who lived in Pa. died in 2015. (I live in Ohio) She would find out family news from an aunt Doris (your mother’s brother Frank’s widow) who was still alive then and also lived there. I mentioned this to my daughter and she showed me how to find out on the internet. I just want you to know that when I was a growing up and your mother was a young girl still living on Grandma’s farm, my family would go there on Sundays and it was such a fun time for me. We would talk and laugh with your Mom, Josie and Grandma. I miss those times so much. My deepest sympathy to you and your families. Love, your cousin Patty (Stossel) McMullen.
