Just heard of Steve’s passing today, saturday, my brother and I were very saddened by this news. It wasn’t 2-3 wks ago my brother and I were going on about him, just one of those people you never forget and hope to run into. My brother said he could shoot a bottle beer cap with deadly accuracy and could have probably been a great golfer if he’d had the backing early on, he just had a natural talent for it. I remember Steve as a writer only because he could tell the greatest stories and no one could tell them better. He was the best at just reeling off one story after the other and just knocking them all right out of the park, just unforgettable…Steve will be greatly missed by many I am sure and he is greatly missed by my brother, Danny and myself. Steve and his family were our neighbors for many years when he was growing up. He was a quiet and thoughtful young man. We were sorry to hear of his death.
