Roy Setliff, 86, Apopka, left us on April 20, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 5, 2018 at New Vision Community Church, 3927 US Hwy 441 North, Plymouth, FL 32768 at 10 am. Roy is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine, 3 sons Stephen, David (Liza) and John (Kim) and 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Brandon, Christina, Kaitlyn, Nolan and Cameron. He relished his role as a grandfather and always looked forward to his visits with the grandchildren. After high school Roy joined the Air Force and served his country for 4 years. He then attended the University of Texas and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. One of his greatest achievements was opening his own business where he found much personal satisfaction. Roy and Lorraine enjoyed many years of travel, golf, entertaining and companionship. Roy often commented that any meal that his wife made was better than any restaurant in town.

I’m so very sorry for your loss, losing those we love is always difficult. May your hearts find comfort in beautiful memories and Jesus words “…the hour is coming where all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.

Roy was so kind and gentle. He was always full of interesting stories and insights when he came to meet with me every year to prepare his tax returns. I’ll miss him.
