To my loving father, it has been an honor and priveledge to be your daughter and share so many joyous times with you over these many years! I love you so much!
I already miss you to the moon and back, your witty smiles and silly ones too, but i am comforted with the thought that you are now with the love of your life, my mother, Linda.
It truly was a blessing having had the opportunity to spend these last 5 years so close to you. We crafted so many great memories together and I promise to tuck these little precious gifts in my heart and protect them forever. I am glad I was able to hold your hand so you weren’t alone as we fought step by step the terrible disease that eventually took hold of you. You were so brave and courageous!
Dad, I am so grateful for all the generous things you did for me throughout the years but especially proud of how you poured your love into our family for so long. You were a brilliant and wonderful man, a loving father, and affectionate grandfather. May you rest now, may you have peace……and see you soon!

My father asked a minister to read this poem, “ To Those I Love” by Isala Richardson at his funeral.
If I should ever leave you whom I love
To go along the silent way,
Grieve not,
Nor speak of me with tears,
But laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you there.
(I’d come – I’d come, could I but find a way!
But would not tears and grief be barriers?)
And when you hear a song
Or see a bird I loved,
Please do not let the thought of me be sad
For I am loving you just as I always have
You were so good to me!
There are so many things I wanted still to do;
So many things to say to you.
Remember that I did not fear;
It was just leaving you that was so hard to face
We cannot see beyond
But this I know;
I love you so
‘twas heaven here with you!
Our dear parents will always be with us in our hearts ????????Rita Enfinger

Melissa and family, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Ali. Although I knew him a relatively short period of time, I learned quickly that he was a passionate man, who loved to laugh and was deeply devoted to His family. I was a witness to the amazing care and love Melissa devoted to Him in his final years. The kind of commitment that only comes out of pure and selfless love. It was very difficult to watch as He knew he was losing His memory yet the smile and the silliness remained a part of His personality right up to the end. It is good that Ali no longer suffers the bounds of His body, but his memory will live on in His children and grandchild. Adam and I were honored to have known Him and our prayers are that the very special memories He made with you all will guide you through the pain of His parting and give you hope to one day you will be joined with Him and his lovely wife again as an family eternal. Praying for your peace through this terrible time.
