Stephen Milo Hessler December 25, 1948 - June 28, 2026

Stephen Milo Hessler, born in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 28, 2026. He attended Marion Franklin High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class Field Nurse, living in places such as Germany, Washington, and Missouri. For the last 45 years, he resided in Orlando.

Stephen is lovingly remembered by his wife Deborah, sons Richard (Jessica) and James, granddaughter Charity Hessler, and great-granddaughter Paisley Maynard. He is also survived by his sister Tamara McClung. He was predeceased by his siblings Vicky Duey, Larry, Daniel, and John Hessler, as well as his parents Virginia Montgomery and Joe Hessler. Stephen leaves behind a large extended family of nieces and nephews.

Stephen enjoyed traveling across the country with Deborah and their dog Polly, either in their RV or on his motorcycle, often in the company of family and friends. His deep love for his country and his dedication to service were hallmarks of his life.

Services will be held at Loomis Funeral Homes in Apopka, Florida.
