Sherwin Francis Tikador, born on April 18, 1965, in Bradford, England, taking his final bow on February 11, 2026, at the age of 60. He is remembered as a cool father, beloved brother and a dedicated professional in the entertainment industry.

At the age of 16, his grandmother could see that Sherwin was a little lost and not quite sure of his next step. She cut a small ad from the Bradford Paper - "Theatre Technicians wanted." She would not leave until he went in. And thus, started his 45 year career in Theatre and Music - from the Alhambra theatre in Bradford to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. He toured the world with the Royal Ballet, Royal Opera and turned right around touring with Ozzy Osbourne, Live Aid and countless rock shows he couldn't even remember. He traveled to NYC and Florida, working for Disney Live Entertainment and Disney Cruise Line. He was a teacher, a rigger, the best follow spot operator ever, a mentor and friend. Most importantly, he was the father to his favorite girls - Olivia, Ava and Ella. He taught them to laugh when life gets hard, that a good joke is worth the embarrassment and that, no matter what, he would always love them. "hearts entwined" he would say as he dropped them off at school.

Above all else, Sherwin was loved. We hope he remembers that. He will be missed beyond the stars.

Sherwin is survived by his three daughters, Olivia, Ava, and Ella, his devoted siblings: brother Dexter Tikadar and sisters Sheena Elliott, Dolores Anderson, Carmen Tikadar, and Cheryl Tikadar, many nephews and nieces and his former spouse of 22 years Rita D’Angelo Tikador.

Sherwin was preceded in death by his parents: Cecil Tikadar and Margaret Cartman.

As we remember Sherwin, may we honor his life on Earth by always playing the music way too loud, rescuing at least 5 dogs at the same time, rolling the windows down and laughing so hard you have tears running down your face.

Please join us in celebrating Sherwin at his "Remembrance Day" party. It will be a casual gathering of friends at a recording studio surrounded by road boxes, lots of stories, photographs, food, drink and of course, loud music. Let's show his girls he was loved.

In lieu of flowers please bring a British food or drink with you. Walkers chips were his favorite.
