Shelton Tracy Savage a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on August 7, 1963, Shelton lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Shelton was known for his loving and giving nature. He took great pride in his work and accomplishments, including being the founder of Savage Fire Protection Inc. Throughout his life, he was admired for his work ethic, his willingness to help others, and the genuine care he showed to those around him.

He found joy being outdoors and treasured time spent with family and friends. Above all, Shelton’s greatest pride was his family, especially his son, whom he loved deeply.

Preceded in death by:

Grandparents Annie Lou Askew Armstrong Burks and William Clayton Burks, Merle Morris Savage and Mildred Louise Lovell Savage.

Great-Grandparents William Franklin Askew and Alma Mellie Armstrong Askew, and Edward Morris Savage

Survived by: His loving parents, Kenneth Eugene Savage and Cynthia Lane Savage His beloved son, Cory Eugene Savage, and daughter-in-law Kimberly Lynn Savage; His twin brother, Charlton Darcy (Dianne) Savage; His brothers, William Burks Savage and Thomas Eugene (Kara) Savage; His devoted sisters, Heidi Morris Savage and Spring Alma Lane (Keith) Guyton; His cherished grandchildren, Savannah Lynn Savage and Brantley Shelton Savage.

Aunts and Uncles including: Frederick Morris Savage, Sharron Faye Burks Pickron, Sandra Mellie Burks Jones and Sarah Anne Burks Pickron.

Nieces and Nephews including: Jessica Savage Cosden (and her children Colton and Braelynn), Rusty Guyton (and her children Tristen and Stephen), Alma Guyton Agostinelli, Raymond Guyton, Cynthia Sin, Thomas Riles and Joshua Riles As well as many cousins and extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Shelton’s memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.

A service to honor and celebrate Shelton’s life will be held at Loomis Funeral Home, Apopka Fl May 1st 2026. Family and friends are invited to join for a public viewing from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by a traditional service beginning at 11:00 AM. Following the service, we will proceed to Edgewood Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka for a graveside service at 12:30 PM, where Shelton will be laid to rest in peace. In this time of remembrance, we invite everyone to come together to celebrate the life of Shelton Tracy Savage. May we honor his memory by carrying forward his loving spirit and kindness in our lives.
