Samuel Pagan died peacefully at home with his loved ones at his side on May 30, 2026.
Samuel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and grew up in Bronx, New York. He met his future wife in high school. At 19 years old he enlisted in the U.S. Army. His daughter, Samantha, was born in Bronx, New York in March of 1982. He married his wife, Yvette, in September of 1983. His son, Shawn, was born in Washington D.C. December of 1984. Samuel served his country in the U.S. Army for 18 years where he traveled to North Carolina, Washington D.C., Neubrucke Germany, Fort Knox Kentucky, and Hinesville Georgia among many other places. He served in Desert Storm.
After the Army he settled in Orlando Florida where he worked for Lynx for approximately 28 years. He enjoyed golf, fishing, boating, music and dancing. He was always known to have a rum and coke in his hand.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Pagan, daughter, Samantha Pagan, son, Shawn Pagan, daughter in law Diana Pagan, granddaughters, Sofiya Celeste Rivera, Zoe Ana Pagan, and Melody Violet Pagan, and grandson Josiah Carmelo Tosado. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
