Ronald “Ronnie” Dee Hurt, 62, of Tavares, passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2025. Ronnie was born and raised in Central Florida, spending most of his life in Apopka. He graduated from Apopka High School in 1982 and remained a Blue Darter fan throughout his life. Ronnie had a love for going to the movies, taking pictures, and being with family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Robin Lyttle, Carolyn Lyttle, and Shelia Lyttle, grandson Levi Haley, brothers Donald Hurt and Joe Hurt, sisters Barbara Diceglie and Vannessa Graham, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Laura Pruitt and Joseph Hurt, Sr., and sister, Deborah Parham.
