Ronald George Howard

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald George Howard, who left this world on May 9, 2026, in Winter Springs, Florida. Born on February 24, 1955, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Ronald lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of others. He served as the Director of Safety and Security in the lodging industry, a role that exemplified his passion for protecting both guests and staff alike. He was also a member of the Central Florida Hotel Motel Association, a liaison group between law enforcement and Central Florida Hospitality. Ron also served as a proud volunteer member of the Orange County Sheriff Task Force for over 30 years, serving as their Captain in the last several years. 

Ronald was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind his cherished wife, Toni Howard; beloved daughter, Rhiannon Howard; and his grandchildren, Kyra West and Jake West. He is also survived by his two brothers, Thomas (Suzanne) and Doug Howard (Marie) and several nieces, nephews and cousins who will carry his memory in their hearts. A memorial service will be held in his honor on June 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Loomis Funeral Home, where family, friends, and all those whose lives Ronald touched will gather to celebrate his extraordinary spirit and contributions. Ronald's legacy will live on through the love and cherished memories he leaves behind. A man of kindness and integrity, he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. In the days to come, let us come together to honor his life and celebrate the profound impact he had on our lives. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Lottie Howard.
