It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard (Dick) George Loker Sr., who left us on February 11, 2026, at his home in Zellwood Station, FL. Born on February 27, 1945, in Walton, NY, Dick lived a full and vibrant life that touched many along the way.

After serving honorably in the Air Force Security Services from 1964 to 1968, Dick returned to civilian life and pursued his passion for technology. In 1972, he graduated from Monroe Community College with an associate's degree in computer programming, launching a rewarding career in the IT industry.

Dick met the love of his life, Betty Gokey, and they tied the knot on August 16, 1980, in Rochester, NY. Together, they shared 45 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Dick had a zest for life; he enjoyed cruising the world and was the proud captain of his trivia team. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He engaged in friendly competition over games of Euchre and Pinochle with friends.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his daughter, Amanda (Bob); son Richard (Ricky) Jr. (Noel); and stepson Michael Langdon (Ellen). He was a proud grandfather to Justin Swales, Michael Langdon Jr., Nicole Langdon, Calvin Loker(Amber), Richard (RG) Loker III, and Paul Loker, as well as a great-grandfather to Zoey Langdon, Lily Langdon, and Lorelai Loker. He also leaves behind his loving sisters, Bonnie Kazoroski (Ron) and Kathy Osterwold, sister-in-law Sylvia LaFave, and brothers-in-law Francis Gokey (Mary Lou), Larry Gokey (Pam), and Gary Gokey (Rachel), along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dick has been joyfully welcomed into heaven by his parents, Calvin and Bernice Loker, and his in-laws, Roland and Ruby Gokey.

He will be warmly remembered and sorely missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Dick's life will be held at Renewal at Rolling Hills Church, 4407 West Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL 32712, at 2 PM. Refreshments will be served at the Depot in Zellwood Station following the celebration of life, and we invite all who knew and loved Dick to join us in honoring his memory.

Isaiah 40:31 but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
