Rebecca A. Creger

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rebecca A. Creger, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, who entered eternal rest on May 26, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on November 21, 1950, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Rebecca lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and a commitment to family. 

Rebecca devoted many years of her life to the field of education, serving as an Accounting Clerk where her diligent work and warm spirit touched the lives of those around her. Even after receiving a college degree, her greatest achievements were found in the love and support she freely offered to her family and friends. Rebecca leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by her beloved grandchildren, Justin Hartzog, Haley Pawley and Shelby Pawley; her sons, James Hartzog and Tim Pawley; as well as her dear sisters, Edna Jones and Nancy Adams, and her brother, John Jones, Jr. Each of them carries a piece of her heart, and they will forever honor her memory. 

In this time of mourning, let us remember Rebecca not only for the years she lived but for the love she instilled in those around her. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts. 

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, John Jones and Edna Russell and sister, Renee Mangum.
