Raymond Edward Szymanski

Raymond "Ray" Szymanski entered into the arms of the Lord on April 25, 2026. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Ray was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and is a graduate of Dickinson High School. He moved to Orlando, Florida in 1989. Ray was a professional baker. He was also a true animal lover.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Inge & Bernard; his sister Carol Henritzy; his son Steve; and his nephew Richard Henritzy. He is survived by his daughters Laura (Dave) Mazzella and Linda Cruz; brother Dan (Margie) Szymanski; and niece Danette (Michael) Fuller. He will surely be missed by his grandchildren; Nicholas, Dylan and Kate Mazzella, Marc and Serenity Cruz; Layne Szymanski; and long time companion Irene Morningstar.

Services will be held June 6, 2026 at Loomis Funeral Home, 420 West Main St., Apopka, Fl. Family will receive visitors 10-11, with a memorial service 11-12. Following the service, all will be invited to attend a celebration of life luncheon at Caffe Positano's in Apopka.

Family is requesting, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA.
