Ramona Garcia Camarillo, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, in Winter Park, Florida, at the age of 68. Born on October 6, 1956, in Sinton, Texas, Ramona lived a life filled with love, warmth, and cherished connections.

Ramona was a devoted mother to her two children, the late Julius Escobedo and her loving daughter, Alexa Carr. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Miranda Escobedo, who brought great joy to her heart. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family — she was a proud and caring presence in the lives of her nieces, nephews, and her cherished 'adopted grandson', Eduardito. Her constant companion and "baby boy," her beloved dog Einey, was never far from her side.

She is survived by her siblings: Maribel Camarillo, Tico Camarillo, Santos Camarillo, and Elida Rivera, with whom she shared countless moments of laughter, love, and sisterly outings, especially their favorite pastime — shopping together.

Ramona found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved walking along the beach, watching birds, tending to flowers and plants, and dining out with dear friends. Her happiest moments were spent in the company of loved ones, creating memories through laughter, conversation, and shared meals at her favorite restaurants.

Her vibrant spirit, compassionate heart, and unshakable devotion to her family and friends will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
