Paul P Peters, 56, of Mount Dora Florida passed away on July 8, 2025 of a prolonged illness. Paul was born in London, Ontario Canada. He became a US nationalized citizen in 2010. He loved history, syfy and his Mustang Cobra Convertible.
Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. Paul taught for Orange County Public Schools for 30 years where he ended his career at Apopka High School sharing his love and excitement for History. Paul was very involved at AHS sponsoring SGA, mascots Dewey and Daisy, and several events, he was loved by the AHS staff and thousands of students whose lives he impacted in many ways he will be missed by all.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Peters. He is survived by his father Phil Peters, Uncle David Russell, Aunt Mary-Ann Martin, Aunt Nancy McLuhan and many cousins. Paul is also mourned by his best friend Joseph Henschke and family.
Paul will be greatly and forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be at Apopka High School, Wednesday August 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
