Patrick Michael Kelliher

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick Michael Kelliher, who departed this world on June 30, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on March 17, 1957, in Burlington Vermont, Patrick spent his later years in Apopka, Florida, where he was known as a dedicated husband, loving brother, and free-spirit amongst family, friends and co-workers. 

Patrick earned his Associate's Degree from Union County Technical Institute, and built a successful career as a computer programmer, contributing significantly to the field and leaving a positive impact on those around him. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his warmth, kindness, profound loyalty and dedication to ‘keeping it real.’ 

Patrick is survived by brothers, James III (Mahnaz), William Kelliher, and Daniel; his sister, Kathleen Fry (Kenneth); and his sons, Dennis Kelliher and Patrick Kelliher Jr., stepson Rodney Dixon (Debra), stepdaughters Casey Dixon and Kayla Dixon, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. 

Patrick was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathy, his parents: Joyce and James Kelliher Jr., his best man and cousin Robert Boucher, cousins Karen Barrows, Laurie Boucher Kopko, Michael E. Mongeon and nephew Michael J. Fry.

There will be no services locally, but an ash spreading for him and his wife will be performed in Maryland at a date and location to be announced.
