It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ova Jean Overstreet, affectionately known as "Jean," who left us on August 15, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on November 1, 1930, in Bolt, West Virginia, Jean lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a spirit that touched everyone she encountered.Jean was a devoted wife to her late husband, Eddie Overstreet . Together, they ventured into unique business endeavors, including running a worm farm that provided supplies to local bait shops and farms. Jean also worked at General Electric in Apopka, where she helped make light bulbs, and spent many years in in-home care and housekeeping, offering her compassionate touch to families across the Apopka and Orlando areas.Beyond her work, Jean had a green thumb and loved gardening and landscaping, nurturing not only her flowers but also any neighborhood cats that found their way to her door.
She was the daughter of Christopher Columbus Snuffer and Icie (Wesley) Snuffer and was preceded in death by her Sisters: Ines, Velva, Rita, and Brothers: Sebert, John, Sydney, and Chris Jr.
Jean was promoted to Heaven to be eternally with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . Her kindness, laughter, and love will be deeply missed and cherished in our hearts forever.
