Norma Jean Wallace, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, at her home in Zellwood, Florida. She was born on September 5, 1942, in Grafton, Illinois, where she spent her formative years surrounded by a loving family and a tight-knit community.
Norma will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Larry White (Rita), David White (Jennie), and Donna Dudici (Tom). She is also survived by her cherished sister, Anita Pulliam, along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends who were touched by her kind spirit and contagious joy.
In life, Norma found great fulfillment as a switchboard operator in the banking industry, but her true passions lay in the warmth of her community and the love of her family. She was a valuable friend to many in Zellwood and was often seen joyfully bee bopping the streets of Zellwood Station in her golf cart, greeting neighbors and newcomers alike. Her delightful presence often brought smiles and laughter to those around her, earning her the affectionate nickname, "Trouble." Norma’s vibrant personality shone brightly at Renniger's Flea Market & Antique Center, where she spent countless weekends, befriending everyone she met along the way.
A devoted member of the St. Louis South Side Swing Dance Club, Norma danced her way through life, leaving a trail of smiles and cherished memories. In her later years, she also embraced the camaraderie of a bowling league. Her zest for life and ability to engage with others will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Norma was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clayton E. and Eugenia Wallace; her partner, Bert Chance; and her brother-in-law, Roger Pulliam.
A private family memorial service will be held to honor her life at a later date.
