Teressa “Teri” Petro Davis, 65, of Apopka, Florida, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 in Orlando, Florida. Born in Bloomington, IN, she moved with her family to Florida in 1968. Teri was predeceased by her parents, Jesse Basil Petro and Mable Louise Petro, her sister Betty “Sis” Clinton and her brother Daniel Petro. Teri graduated from Apopka High School in 1972. She was a life long resident of Apopka who loved to read, paint, draw, or sketch, while dancing and listening to music. For those that knew mom, she was always the life of the party. No one could tell a story like she did, and she loved telling them about the crazy and silly things she had done. She was a best friend to everyone she was close with. She was a beautiful soul who often gave more than she got back. Quick witted and generous to a fault, she loved her family first and loved to make memories. Teri is survived by her son, Tony Eachus and his wife Shannon, her daughter Amber Kirby and her husband Kevin. Teri has 4 grandchildren Katie and Tyler Blackburn and Addison and Benjamin Eachus. Teri has 8 siblings; Sandee and Ralph Badger, Patty Hillenburg, Connie and Aaron Blackwelder, Ron and Sharon Petro, Debbie and Tom Shupe, and Mikki Vaughn. Teri has many nieces and nephews who looked up to her and loved her dearly. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. Services will be held Saturday, May 30th at 1pm at Loomis funeral home in Apopka. Flowers are welcome and memorial contributions can be made to the family c/o Tony Eachus or Cornerstone Hospice at Orlando Health.

Amber and Tony I cannot tell you how terribly shocked I was to learn of Teri‘s passing. Although we had never met in person we became fast and great friends on Facebook. She was always kind but didn’t hesitate to express her opinion, she was witty, incredibly funny and a great friend . She was so proud of you and Tony and the grandkids and mentioned you both constantly. She would post pictures of food from Marlows Tavern and it just made me Want to rush down to try them. We had a standing joke, she would post some thing at two or 3 AM and I would ask her what she was doing up at that hour and she would reply, “look who’s talking “
I looked forward to our daily chats and always waiting for her sarcasm of the day. My condolences and prayers go out to you and Tony and all the family. I am in shock as I’m sure you are also . I will miss her deeply, she was truly one of a kind !❤️😢❤️😢

There are no words to express this sadness. I met Terri at Welbro and became friends with her. I loved her spirit and her “I’m going to say what I want to” attitude. She kept me very entertained with her political humor. She’ll be missed very much.

Tony/Amber, it’s a hard that your mom is gone so soon. I wish there was more I could say or do to ease the pain. Your mom was a good sister to me and her passing is very painful. Her life wasn’t easy, and I know she struggled at times I wish I could have been there for her more.
Love you guys,
Butch

I have known Teri since I was 10 years old, she has been such a big part of my life, early years, teenage years. She was my friend, my mom (step), grandma Teri to my son, she was there when he was born.
As years went by we didn’t see each other, I always planned too, and now I’m sorry I didn’t.
I have always adored her, she made me laugh, she gave me advice, she helped me when I was sad and she was always on my side. I remember so many great times.
She will be my forever friend and “mom” in my heart. I love you and miss you, you left to soon.
Tony and Amber you will always be family to me, no matter how long it’s been. Love to you all.
