Rita Ann Esther Augustine, 80, of Zellwood, Florida went home to be with her Lord on June 04, 2021. Mrs. Augustine was born on January 16, 1941 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She loved butterflies, anything purple, spending time with family & friends, and especially her Lord. She also loved her hats and had them in every color. She was always remembered by so many as the sweet lady with the matching hats. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her great grand babies who made their GG smile big with their loving words and special hugs and snuggles. Even those out of state who could not be here to give hugs, drew her pictures and Face Timed with her, making her feel so special. She loved manger scenes and had a very large collection as family & friends enjoyed giving her unusual ones throughout the years. She was very faithful in studying her bible and praying for ALL of her family and friends by name every day. She had a very special calendar made for her every year that was filled with pictures of her loved ones from the previous year. She faithfully sent cards for birthdays, anniversaries and holidays.
She loved her Lord and her eyes & face radiated the glory she saw as she left this world and entered into His presence.
She is preceded in death her husband William B. Augustine SR.; and her children David Oliver Jr. and Carolyn “Becky” Freitas. She is survived by her children Lynda Oliver, Patti (Duane) Colvin, Debi Hardy, Scott (Jodi) Oliver, Shawn (Cheryl) Augustine, Bill Augustine Jr, and Tammy (Ken) Bogle; 25 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren with one more due in September; 3 great-great granddaughters; as well as many cherished siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends. She will be greatly missed by her many loved ones and friends but we have peace knowing she is Home with her Savior Jesus Christ.
