Patricia (Pat), of Altamonte Springs passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024. She was born Oct. 22, 1938 in Miami, FL. She was predeceased by her parents Davis A. Murphy and Virginia D. (Wallace) Murphy, and her brother Larry Murphy. She graduated from Coral Gables HS and The Florida State University. It was there in Tallahassee where she met her future husband, Jack H. Heisler on a blind date. They were married in Miami on June 25, 1960. They lived in several towns before settling in Altamonte Springs. Pat worked as a school teacher at Sabal Point Elementary while also raising three children. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, daughters Rebecca Lee Baughman (Bart) of Apopka, Jennifer Lee Heisler (Al) of Apopka, and son Jack K. Heisler of Apopka. She is also survived by three nephews, one niece, two grandsons, three granddaughters, and two great grandsons who will deeply miss their Nana.
She truly made this world a better place with her love, kindness, and compassion. The family will hold a small family service. Please donate to The Parkinson’s Foundation in her name.
