Estella Ann Garrett, For Friends, and Family she went by Stella. Born April 29th, 1939, in Indian Lake, New York. She graduated from Johnsburg Central school with high honors in 1957. Moved to Florida later that year. Got married to Arthur Martin and had a child at the age of 23, years later got divorced. Eventually got remarried, to John Garrett. For 46 years till his passing in 2018. She worked as a bookkeeper for a couple of different companies early on. Then she went to work for Richie Morretti at Richie’s Volkswagen. She continued to work for him for over 50 years keeping his books for his Florida Keys motel, video store and turtle hospital until she retired last year. She always enjoyed bowling weekly with her husband John in a mixed league. Soon it became a family night of bowling with sons and daughter in-law. Meanwhile Stella was a member of the Orlando Moose Lodge with John. She was very active in the lodge. She carried numerus titles over the years for the women of the Moose including being the only women to ever serve on the men’s board. She just celebrated her 50th year of service. She loved each and every one of you at the Moose Lodge, You meant everything to her. This was a big part of her Life.
She also loved to go to Las Vegas or Biloxi on gambling trips. But her favorite was to go down to the Florida Keys just to relax. She enjoyed going to or watching Orlando Magic Games, rooting for the Atlanta Braves Baseball team, doing Puzzles, Reading Books and playing computer games as well.
Stella was survived by: Son- Troy Martin and his wife Beth, Step Son- Randy Garrett and his wife Belinda, Step Daughter- Linda Woody and her husband Dan, Sister- Cheryl Cronister, Brother- Terry Brooks and his wife Marylin, Niece-Michelle Adams and her husband Jon, Grand-kids -Tara Martin and her fiancée Gabriel, Christina Hardee and her husband Darren , Ashley Jackson, Great Grand-kids- Colin, Jacob, Jordan, Emma, Gabriel, Camron and Hayden .
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Moose Heart with The Moose Lodge.

Condolences to Stellas family. She was my bookeeper for my charter boat business in the keys and also to the Turtle Museum. She was also a friend that got me to be a women of the moose when I was in Orlando. She was a good woman! Thank you Stella!
