Betty Jean Quinn, 81, of Apopka, Florida departed this earth on April 28, 2021. Mrs. Quinn was born on October 05, 1939 in her hometown of Apopka, Florida; she was 1 of 8 children (Tommy, Ruth, Jay, Ivy, Bill, Bob, Betty, and Tina) born to the late William and Verna Ragin. After growing up in Apopka, Betty found herself on a journey in Chicago, Illinois, where she found the love of her life, Phil Quinn. Betty and Phil returned to Apopka where they embarked on the next phase of their life, raising their beloved children Tina, Sandy, Karen, Phil, and Billy. Betty worked hard in Management at the Packing House, where she devoted herself in all that she did. She beautified the floral department at Super Walmart, where her personal touch was unmistakable. Anyone who was fortunate enough to have Betty as a part of their life can attest to the amazing connection they had with her; friends were FAMILY. Betty will be dearly missed by many loved ones. Betty is survived by her baby sister Tina. The infectious laughter and love that “Jean and Tean” shared with all remains.

I am so very saddened by Betty’s passing. She and Tina looked after David and me (Robinson) after school many days in Chicago when we were young. We loved seeing them.
I am so very sorry that I can’t be there to share in her memory. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
