Annie Sasser Miller passed away on July 12 th , 2023. She was born on August 16 th , 1940 in Covington County, Alabama. She was 82 years old. Annie, also known as Nanny to many. She resided in Altoona, Alabama. Although Apopka, Florida had been her home for most of her life. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and dear friend. She is preceded in death by her parents Elton and Esther Sasser; and loving husband William “Bill” Miller. Annie is survived by her children Stephen (Linda) Miller of Otisville, MI, Lou Ann (Clyde) Naylor of Apopka, FL, Joseph (Dottie) Miller of Erwin, TN and Glenda (Remi) Gail Birko of Altoona, AL. She had 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Annie was a nursery worker, she loved plants and they thrived under her green thumb. Her hobbies were genealogy, reading, cross stitch, cooking and gardening. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
