William Warren Jackson Jr, 71, of Apopka, Florida passed away on December 27, 2020. Mr. Jackson was born on April 25, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents William “Bill” and Lena Jackson of Haines City, FL. He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca Hartley Jackson of Apopka, Florida; son William Warren Jackson III of Apopka, Florida; daughter Skye Jackson Vriesenga of Cape Canaveral, Florida; grandson Cody Hart Jackson of Apopka, Florida; sister Merri Ann (Mark) Montgomery of Haines City, Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews. W.W. Jackson Jr. passed away Sunday of heart failure. W.W., as he liked to be called, was well respected in the Trucking Industry and he loved heavy duty trucks, to the point we called him a truck lovingly at times.
He loved tradition and the finer things of life. He also was passionate about Florida Gator Football, golfing with friends, and salt water fishing. Plus, he was known for his skill at the Barbeque!
Warren was strong and courageous with a zest for life. He was a wonderful Father and provider for his family that he loved very much as well as his friends.
Apopka resident 40 years…grew up in Haines City, FL in the 50 & 60’s and 7. William will be missed by his many loved ones and friends

Warren was my husband’s 1st cousin. Theodore (Teddy) Zolkos passed away in October, but even before we were married I knew the Jacksons, including Warren & Merri Ann in Haines City. Teddy was older, but enjoyed talking about the extended family & get-togethers as he was growing up. Warren had a great family heritage & I know he will be greatly missed by his current family. My deepest sympathies to you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Warren was a very old friend. Like many people in HC, we went to school and had many classes together from elementary to our shared graduation. We even suffered through ballroom dance lessons together. He was a very kind and thoughtful man with many friends. Please know that your entire family will be in our prayers and may your loss be overshadowed with sweet memories.

Becky..
I just got your text about WW. I can’t begin to tell you how this news impacts me. Being late to the party.. I have been able read some of the condolences from people that were a part of your lives. The one theme that appears to be consistent to me is that WW was very special. I will miss not knowing he is in this world with us adding that little bit of GUSTO. Hope you guys are doing okay.
Once again, so sorry for your/our loss.
