Vasco Barrett, 95 of Zellwood FL went to meet Jesus on September 14, 2020.
He and his wife celebrated their 73-wedding anniversary on September 13, 2020.
He was born in Grady County, GA on October 31, 1924 to Thomas J. Barrett and Willie Gus Yawn Barrett.
They were blessed with 10 children. Vasco had a twin brother Rosco (Cody). Vasco and Jean raised three sons and have lived in the same home for 73 years in Zellwood.
He worked at Zellwood Fruit Distributors then Plymouth Citrus (Juice Plant) for 33 years as a maintenance mechanic. He also worked for NOCIA as a Groundskeeper. Later he worked at Pine Hills Church of God & West Oaks Academy as Groundskeeper until he retired.
He is survived by his loving wife Coletta Jean Henry Barrett (MiMi). They were blessed with three sons. Vasco Eugene (Nancy) proceeded him in death. Marvin (Karen) and Robert (Kim) Barrett.
He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren: who lovingly called him PaPa. Bobbie (James), Donna (Joe), Holly (Eon). Sandy (Chris), Tina (Tony). Jason and Kyle (Rachel). Mella (Jessie) Bullock and Jennifer Ringer and Abhi Shah.
He was doubly blessed with 13 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. He also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His Love of God and Family is the foundation he has left
his family. What an amazing legacy he left. RIP PaPa We love you always
