Leonard Frank Swalina, 84, of Apopka, Florida passed away on June 13, 2021. Mr. Swalina was born on October 02, 1936 in Plains, Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lorene E. Swalina. He is survived by his children Debra Lynn Ellison and her husband Richard of Trussville, Alabama, Karen Elaine Rogers and her husband Timothy Sandlin of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Sharon Diane Swalina of Sanford, Florida and David Anthony Swalina of Longwood, Florida; his sister Helen A. Swalina of Westport, Connecticut; grandchildren Patrick Ellison, Lauren Morton, Cassie Davis, Timothy Sandlin, Kaitlin Biesecker, Ashley McCall and Hannah McCall; and great grandchildren Ryan Ellison, Gage Roy, Logan Roy, Jacob Roy, Emyla Morton, Ellison Morton, Jaxson Summerall and Makenna Summerall. Leonard was a dedicated public servant serving in the Air Force. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant, and upon retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the US postal service, and the Orange County Corrections Department. He will be missed by his many loved ones and friends.
