Carlos A. Garcia
Carlos A. Garcia, 59, of Winter Springs, FL, peacefully passed away on September 18th, 2021.
Born in Havana, Cuba to Maria Maldonado and Carlos G. Garcia. Carlos was fiercely passionate about the airline industry and traveling. Carlos dedicated his life to both his family and his career.
After he graduated from Pan American School of Travel, Carlos landed a job at Virgin Atlantic. This led to a fulfilling 35-year career with Virgin Atlantic Airways. In 2014, Carlos met his wife, Mael and they were happily married in 2019. Carlos put family first, always, and was a dedicated father to his four children.
Carlos was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge, guidance and warm attitude were the foundation of his family.
Carlos took the time to enjoy the little things in life. He never took a good time or the opportunity to make someone smile for granted. He often talked about traveling the world, appreciating different cultures and trying new foods. Carlos is survived by his mother Maria Maldonado; his wife, Mael Garcia; his sisters, Odalys Bonenfant; Cindy Garcia; his brother, Carlos Garcia; his children Cynthia Garcia, Daniel Garcia, Brittany Garcia-Railey, and Andrew Garcia; his former wife, Lynn Zawada and four grandchildren.

I had the very real pleasure of working with Carlos for over 10 years , when we were both at Virgin Atlantic. He was a very knowledgeable excellent member of the team . Always willing to freely share his significant experience. He was great to work with, funny, positive and almost always good humored. In recent years as a team we had undertaken some charitable activity and whether working in an urban garden or a mission for homeless people his humanity, empathy and positive nature shone out . I know he will be sorely missed by all that knew him and want to offer his family by deepest and most sincere condolences on their untimely loss.
