I grew up with Bruce in Emsworth, we were great friends in grade school, in fact he always came to my birthday parties as I told my parents he was my best friend. His parents knew my parents (Patricia and Clyde Weissert) and Bruce was was always a kind person to everyone. My special thoughts and prayers go out to his family. My sincere condolences. His friend from long ago, Gary Weissert.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of my long-time friend. We were biology lab partners in high school, ran the snack bar at football games, and shared many laughs. Our friendship continued throughout the years. My husband Jim and my sons Jimmy and Mark cared very much for Bruce as well. My deepest condolences to his father, sister Donna, brother-in-law Artie and their children. He was one of a kind!

The world lost a wonderful human being. As I think back to the early 70s and all the students that passed through my doorway, none comes to mind where I can say “He always had a smile on his face”. Except for Bruce. No matter the situation, he always gave it his best. Whether running track, decorating for the prom, playing street hockey or just as a student in class. One of the funniest stories I have ever heard centers arounds Bruce’s entrance into the business world with his tee shirt printing business. As I type, I can see him in front of me laughing about the situation even though it practically ruined his business. He obviously recovered to go much further in life. When we stopped in Orlando unexpectedly, he stopped what he was doing to show us around, when I needed someone to introduce our son to the business world after graduation he spent three days with Bruce at Universal. What a true prince of a man.

Just found out about the passing of this awesome guy. I worked with Bruce when I was in PR at Universal and Visit Orlando (then the Orlando CVB). Spent a lot of time with Bruce at domestic and international travel trade shows. He always had a smile on his face and I never saw him in a negative mood regardless of the work challenges. Such a nice, truly pleasant person to be gone so early. Rest in peace, my friend.

I met Bruce on several occasions when he was with Universal Studios Florida and when he made his annual visit to the UK fur the World Travel Market in London. He very kindly gave me complimentary tickets for my wife and family to enjoy Universal Studios which we all,did on many occasions. I lost touch with him when he left Universal Studios and was staggered to read of his death last year.
A true gentleman in every sense and whinIncinsidered a close frien within the travel industry.
