Bobby Gene McKinnon, 62, of Orlando, FL passed away on October 5, 2020. Bobby was born on September 29, 1958 in Columbus, GA. to Patricia and Craten McKinnon, the 2nd oldest of four siblings. He moved to the sunshine state in the 80’s. Bobby graduated from Colonial High School in 1976.
In 1982 Bobby married the love of his life Paula (Thomas) McKinnon. They just celebrated 38 years of marriage. They loved to travel together and enjoyed trips on their boat and hanging out at the hunting club. They both shared the love of animals and many dogs and cats were lucky to be adopted into this family.
A self-employed entrepreneur Bobby liked being his own boss. He established a pressure washing and supply business in Orlando. He was also well known for his wheeling and dealing in anything he could trade or sell. Bobby believed in God, his Country, and all the freedoms we enjoy in America. Hunting, boating, and outdoor activities were a big part of his life. Bobby was an avid Dale Earnhardt NASCAR racing fan! He loved to laugh, tell a good joke and have a good time. On the outside he was a little prickly and gruff, but all his friends and family knew he had a tender heart of gold. He was always willing to do anything to help someone out. Bobby loved his wife, family, and friends very much and was not ashamed to tell them.
He was preceded in death by his father Craten McKinnon, sister Kathy (McKinnon) Wissinger, and brother Victor McKinnon and survived by his mother Patricia McKinnon in Columbus, GA brother Carl McKinnon of Orlando, wife Paula McKinnon and many loved ones and friends.

Bobby was the best cousin ever. But one thing is for sure if you asked his advice you better be able to handle it because he believed in telling it like it was. I loved him for that. You could always count on him for anything. He would always have Paula call me for advice regarding is heart being I was the only nurse on his side of the family and I would tell him what to do. Bobby when Paula called me and said you were gone I was shocked and broken-hearted. I will miss getting advice from you and just simply talking by your pool every thanksgiving but I know dad uncle Jimmy uncle Craten and all of them meet you at heavens gate. Thanks for being our loud mouth crazy cuz for you were that but you were ours and we love you always. Until we meet again cuz. Love dee dee

BOBBY, I am saddened to hear that you have went to be with the LORD. That morning that Paula called and told me of your passing a piece of my heart broke with hers. Bobby, this Woman loved you to no end and always will. We will do our best to keep her busy in days to come with support and love from each of us. I will do my best to shoot that deer this weekend in remembrance of you sir. You are now able to catch all the fish and hunt all the deer you want now in the heavens of GOD. Please continue to watch over Paula as she struggles in the days to come.
REST EASY BOBBY
