It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Melody Ann Mabe, who left us on July 26, 2025, just a few days shy of her 68th birthday. Born on July 29, 1957, in Jacksonville, FL, Melody lived a life filled with love, laughter, and family.
A dedicated homemaker, Melody poured her heart and soul into her home and her loved ones. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world, there was nothing sweeter to her than being called Grandma and Granny. She is survived by her cherished children; daughter Christina Johnson, son Christopher Mabe, daughter Tatrianna Vera, son Atin Carver, and daughter Melissa Rudolph. Melody had a wonderful relationship with her son-in-law, Brett Johnson, whom she had loved like her own sons. She was blessed to have three grandchildren; Daylyn Johnson, Milani Gilmore and Ezra Gilmore, and two great-grandchildren; Skylyn Butler and Kylo Butler. Each of them carries a piece of Melody in their hearts forever. Melody was preceded in death by her parents: Norman Carver and Anna Reid.
We find comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Melody. You will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
