Maxcine Jean Bailey

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maxcine Jean Bailey, who departed from this life on June 10, 2026, at the age of 73. Maxcine was born on June 29, 1952, in Cascade, St. Mary, Jamaica. While living in New York, Maxcine was dedicated to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the healthcare industry. Upon her retirement, she and Everol moved to Florida.

Maxcine's compassion for others was evident in both her professional and personal life. She is remembered as a loving wife to her husband, Everol Bailey, a devoted mother to her son, Delston Hunt, a loving Mother-in-Law to Amoy Sinclair Hunt, adoring grandmother of seven grandchildren, beloved sister and aunt.  Her legacy of kindness and service will be cherished by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Loomis Funeral Home at 12:00 PM, with a public viewing beginning at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will take place at Highland Memory Gardens on July 17, 2026, immediately following the funeral service.

Maxcine will be laid to rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Maxcine was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Pearlene Hay and sibling, Synly Haye.
