Mary Joyce Avery

Joyce Avery, 80, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on June 2, 2026. She was born on June 21,1945 in Centre, Alabama to Esther Morris. Joyce was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend whose strength, determination, and love for her family defined her life. She will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, her sense of humor, and the countless memories she created with those she loved.

Joyce is survived by daughter Sherrie Bayer, granddaughters Shayna Bayer (Kurt Hessling) and Meghan Bayer, great grandchildren Laylah Hessling, Hendrix Walker, and Zeppelin Walker, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Gerald Avery, son Jerry Avery, and mother Esther Morris.

A service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held on June 6,2026 at 3:00PM for visitation and the service will start at 4:00PM at Loomis Funeral Home in Apopka, Florida.
