Mark William Cropley, 68, of Rockford, Tennessee passed away on December 31, 2025. He was born on May 17, 1957, in Akron, Ohio to the late William George and Carol Rosella Cropley.

Mark was the kind of person who made life feel lighter just by being around him. He was laid back, fun, and always up for a good time. He had a way of enjoying the moment, whether that meant sharing a laugh, telling a story, or simply relaxing and taking in the day. He understood something important: life is meant to be lived, not rushed. He loved a good laugh & a good time. If there was a Florida Gators or Tennessee Volunteer game on, a golf course nearby, or a fishing line in the water, that’s exactly where he wanted to be.

He spent most of his work career with US Foodservice, a role he carried with dedication, leadership, and pride. After retiring, he embraced the freedom he had earned, splitting his time between Florida and Tennessee, enjoying the places and people he loved most. He built a full life, one marked by hard work, adventure, and connection.

For 30 years, Mark shared his life with his beloved wife, Alice Cropley, whom he deeply loved. Their marriage was a true partnership, and though Alice passed in 2021, their bond never ended. Today, we find comfort knowing he is united with Alice together again after time apart.

Mark is survived by his loving sisters Debbie Williams, and brother-in-law Tim Williams, sister Kimberly Robinson, and brother-in- law Ron Robinson; his beautiful children Mark Cropley (Melissa) , Dale Cropley (Brittany) and Lauren Cropley; his beautiful grand children Grace, Caroline, Ainsley and Bryce; nephews Dan, Michelle, Randy and Aaron. Mark was deeply loved by many, his legacy will live through us all.

What many will remember most about Mark is his easygoing attitude and fun loving spirit. Mark didn’t need to be loud to be memorable. He simply showed up as himself, and that was enough.

Today, we don’t just mourn his passing, we celebrate a life well lived. A life full of work and play, love and laughter, and moments that mattered. Though we will miss him deeply, we are grateful for the time we had and the memories he leaves behind.

Rest easy now.

You lived fully, you loved deeply, and now you are at peace, reunited with Alice, forever.
