Marjorie Bedasie

Marjorie Bedasie, born on September 21, 1949, in Trinidad, passed away peacefully at her home in Apopka, Florida, on June 23, 2025, at the age of 75.

She was the devoted mother of Andrea, Marisha, Vanessa, Son-In-Law Keith and the proud grandmother of Dazha, Keivana, Kj, Skyla and family pet Yankee. Her love for her family was boundless and ever-present in everything she did.

Marjorie was known for many things her incredible cooking that brought everyone together, her unmatched attention to detail in keeping a home that could rival any model showroom, and her deep love of plants, which she tended to with care and pride. Fittingly, when she passed, she was found peacefully beside her cherished plants a place where she found joy and peace.

She had a green thumb, a sharp memory, and a legendary ability to recall the exact type, color, and lid size of any dish she lent out. “Mom keeps an inventory,” we always joked, and somehow, she really did.

Marjorie was also lovingly stubborn never one to sit still when there was something to tidy, cook, or organize. Even when told to rest, she was always in motion, making sure everything and everyone around her was cared for.

She will be remembered for her strength and the warmth she brought into our lives. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the home she built with care.
