Margaret Peterson Brown

Margaret (Peggy) Ellen Peterson Brown, age 75, passed away on April 4, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. She was born in Erie, PA and relocated to San Bernadino, California with her family before her first birthday. She had her own apartment her senior year of high school while also working for the county Clerk of the Courts. She graduated from Riverside High School in 1967, the same year she would meet her future husband, Ronald Edward Brown after he had returned from VietNam. She came down to Florida for a visit in late 1967, and never left. She and Ronald Brown married in 1967 and were married for 54 years.

She began working in accounting while still attending high school after being offered a job by the Clerk of the Courts for scholastic excellence in mathematics. She later ran and operated South Eastern Counseling Center alongside her husband. She enjoyed reading, sewing, tennis and running in her younger years. Later in life she enjoyed photography and she continued to run into her 60s.

Peggy is survived by her daughters Carrie (John) Camacho and Cassie (Ivan Avila) Brown; grandchildren Austin Camacho and Emma Camacho; and her sister Jaqueline (William) Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Edward Brown; her parents Margaret and Kenneth Peterson; and siblings Russel Peterson and Adele Benyo.
