In Loving Memory of Luke Arthur Ivill
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Luke Arthur Ivill, 29, of Apopka, Florida, he passed away on July 11, 2026. Born on July 8, 1997, in Orlando, Florida, Luke brought quiet joy to those who knew and loved him.
Luke had a passion for video games, whether he was playing, watching, or creating videos about them, he found happiness in the gaming community and enjoyed sharing that passion. He immersed himself in the worlds these games created, where he found solace and adventure. Luke also loved music and was proud to have been part of his school’s band and chorus. He was a graduate of Valencia College with an Associate’s degree in Graphic Arts and Web Design. He loved cruising around the neighborhood and always looked forward to the next adventure with his brother, Shayne. Luke never let being in a wheelchair hold him back — he lived fully and chased whatever brought him joy. Those who knew Luke will remember his quiet nature, gentle spirit, and the way he found joy in the things he loved most.
Luke is survived by his loving parents, Michele and Mark Ivill; his sister, Melanie Jarvis, and her husband, Zach Jarvis; his cherished nephew Chase and niece Nina; his grandmother; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Shayne Ivill, as well as his grandparents, Grammy, Papa John, and Grandpa Ivill.
Though Luke's time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished and lovingly remembered always.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Luke's life on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Apopka. A public viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Luke will be laid to rest at Edgewood Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka immediately following the service.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and held so dear.”
