Larry Neil Fischer

Larry Neil Fischer, 77, of Apopka, died May 30th, 2025. Larry was born in Orlando, Florida on October 10, 1947.

He worked at Martin Marietta (Lockheed Martin) in IT for 45 years. Larry loved telling everyone about his annual fishing trips to Islamorada, where he couldn’t get enough of catching Tarpon and eating at his favorite restaurant Lazy Days. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and joining his grandson at the Sanford Zoo, Gatorland or Panera. His favorite treat were tacos from Tijuana Flatts and he loved watching old western movies, especially Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns. He enjoyed his Friday classic car cookouts where he would chat about his 68’ Chevelle Super Sport (SS). Larry was often found sitting by the lake with his granddogs Dexter and Lily, who he loved dearly.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lana; two sons, Bryan (Jenovie) and Matthew; brother Kevin (Kathy); and Grandson, Austin.

Interment to be held at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka, Florida.
