Kristine Lucia Cummings

Kristine Lucia Cummings was born in Orlando, Florida on July 20,1975 to Norma Lucia and Brian Ashmead Cummings. 

Kristine grew up in the Orlando area and attended Magnolia School in Pine Hills, graduating in 1996.

After graduating from Magnolia School, Kristine participated in a day program in Casselberry known as SWOP (currently Inspire). Later Kristine participated in Quest North, a day program in Apopka.

Kristine loved Disney as well as shopping, animals (especially dogs) and she loved to dress up. Kristine also inherited her mother and aunt’s love for bargain shopping with purses and pocketbooks being her favorite finds.

Kristine and her brother, Donald, were inseparable. Donald looked up to Kristine and would refuse to participate in day program activities if Kristine wasn’t participating. Kristine loved family, including her aunts and uncles. She looked forward to spending time with them and would share about that time with anyone who would listen.

Kristine also was not shy about her relationship with Jesus. She accepted Jesus as her Savior and would tell anyone who would listen that Jesus was her hero. During worship she would clap her hands with great enthusiasm.

Kristine was preceded in death by her father, Brian Ashmead Cummings. Kristine is survived by her mother, Norma and her brother Donald as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a graveside service for Kristine on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka, Florida at 11 am.

Kristine’s family would like to thank the care staff at Laurel Hills Cluster/Quest for their kindness and loving care for Kristine in the last year and a half of her life. Your impact on her life was evidenced by Kristine’s love for you.
