Juan Carlos Martinez

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Juan Carlos Martinez, who departed this life on June 9, 2026, at the age of 42. Born on December 3, 1983, in Compostela, Nayarit, Mexico, Carlos grew up in Long Beach, California, before moving to Mount Dora, Florida, in 1999, where he established roots and built a life surrounded by loved ones.

A dedicated family man, Carlos was cherished by his wife, Taydi E. Martinez, and is survived by his beloved children: Carlos (19), Kayla (16), and Yunel (12). He was a loving son to Rogelio and Olga Martinez and will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Juan De La Paz, Alejandro De La Paz, and Verónica Mesa. He is predeceased by his son Angel.

Carlos was self-employed as the proud owner of CNJ Masonry Inc. since 2006, demonstrating a remarkable work ethic and commitment to his craft. His passion for masonry not only provided for his family but also allowed him to create something beautiful and lasting in his community.

A man of many interests, Carlos loved sports and cherished the moments spent attending baseball games with his family. His Catholic faith was a source of strength and solace, guiding him through life’s challenges and joys.

The Martinez family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their love and support during this difficult time. Carlos’ spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
