John David Chandler

John David Chandler, 87, of Zellwood Station, passed away on July 10, 2026.  He was born on June 23, 1939 in Plymouth, Florida.  John honorably served in the Air Force Reserve as a Hydraulics Specialist.  He worked for Plymouth Citrus as a Machine Operator, then became a Sales Representative at Citrus Central Inc. until it closed.  He then became a Night Manager at Crown Cork and Seal where he then retired.  After retiring, he decided to become a Relator for Higgins and Health.  After several years in Real Estate, he retired for the final time. 

John was a Baptist by faith, and attended First Baptist of Orlando, where he proudly ushered for 25 years.  He enjoyed flying, gardening, and traveling.  John was preceded in death by his father, Curtis, his mother Ruth Wilkins, and his brother, Robert.  He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his sister Carolyn King, his son Steven Chandler (Vicky), his son Gordon Chandler (Sharon), his grandchildren Matthew (Jacqueline), Tara (Solomon), Rebekah (Johnny), and Moriah (Joe).  Great grandchildren include Lelah, Caiden, Nicholas, Amelia, Makhi, Annabelle, and Emersyn.
