Jamie Edward Sapp

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jamie Edward Sapp, who left us far too soon on March 20, 2026, at the age of 50. Born on March 6, 1976, in Orlando, Florida, Jamie spent most of his life in Florida, where he built deep connections and unforgettable memories with those around him.

Jamie was larger than life—loud, full of joy, and impossible to ignore in the best way. His laugh was contagious, his energy unmatched, and he had a natural gift for making anyone smile. He had a way of finding humor in every single moment and carried a lighthearted spirit that stayed with him no matter what life brought his way. He loved to joke around and bring laughter into every room, always making sure those around him were smiling.

Jamie was a dedicated foreman in the construction industry, where his strong work ethic and commitment earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in spending time outdoors—especially fishing—as well as listening to music, dancing, and being surrounded by the people he loved most. He was known for his bold sense of humor, often keeping everyone on their toes with his unfiltered jokes and stories you never quite saw coming. Jamie also enjoyed trips to the casino, where he loudly loved sharing stories of his wins—and even the times he didn’t quite hit the jackpot.

Jamie was immensely loved by his family. He is cherished by his parents, John Sapp, Loretta Peterson, and Billy Peterson, and by his brother, Jason Sapp. His children, Bryce Sapp and Megan Sapp, will carry on his spirit, his humor, and the many memories they shared together.

A memorial service celebrating Jamie’s life will take place on March 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor the extraordinary jokester he was.

He will be deeply missed, but his laughter, love, jokes, and unforgettable personality will live on in all of us.
