Obituary

Harvey Lee Morris, 84, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family on June 6, 2026, in Apopka, Florida. Born on October 20, 1941, in Jackson, Tennessee, she lived a long and full life in good health until her final years, when she was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Through that journey, her husband Ken remained devotedly by her side, caring for her with love until the very end.

Harvey was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Bray; her mother, Mildred Bray; and her sisters, Linda (Bray) Madsen and Ruth Bray.

She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Ken Morris of Apopka, Florida; her son, Jon Buschlen, his wife Paola, and their daughter Sara of Flowery Branch, Georgia; her daughter, Lisa Buschlen of Tifton, Georgia; her stepdaughter, Sheila Morris of Maitland, Florida; and her stepson, Tony Morris of Apopka, Florida.

A devout Christian who loved the Lord with her whole heart, Harvey's faith shaped every part of who she was. She moved through life with a cheerful optimism and a calming presence that put everyone around her at ease. Generous and kind, she welcomed people without judgment and loved without condition, leaving all who knew her feeling seen and accepted.

Harvey channeled that same spirit into her work and her passions. For more than 30 years she owned and operated Morris Enterprises, where she became affectionately known as the Bolt Queen. She also served as a realtor with HD Realty and worked alongside Ken managing their rental properties. On their farm in Apopka, she raised Australian Shepherds, a labor of love that reflected her nurturing nature.

Harvey Lee Morris made the world around her brighter simply by being in it. She will be profoundly missed by her family and by all whose lives she touched.
