Gerald Boyd died peacefully in his son's home in Apopka, Florida on February 14, 2026.
Survivors include son Tony Boyd and his wife Arlene Boyd, daughter Cynthia Rothman, granddaughter Tonia Fralin, and great granddaughter Shirley Fralin.
He served as an air traffic controller for the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1974. He was also a member of the VFW in Palatka, Florida.
