It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Thomas Wincey, who left us on May 26, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on October 11, 1954, in Winter Garden, Florida, Gary lived a full life filled with love, laughter, and countless fishing adventures.
Gary was a proud veteran who served in the Army during the Vietnam War, spending time as a radio repairman stationed in Germany. After his military service, he went on to have a successful career as a project manager in the air conditioning industry.
In 1989, he married the love of his life, Rosalind, and together they raised two wonderful sons: Gary Il and Garrett. Gary was a family man through and through, and he cherished every moment with his loved ones. He also had a passion for fishing and was an avid Florida Gators fan, often cheering them on with friends and family.
Gary is survived by his soulmate, Rosalind, his three sons Christopher, Gary Il and Garrett, his brother, Dewey, and a host of family. His absence leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist of Apopka, where friends and family will gather to celebrate Gary's life and the legacy he leaves behind. Those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to join us as we honor this incredible man and the joy he brought to our lives. Gary will be laid to rest at Edgewood Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka, Florida.
Rest in peace, Gary. You will forever be in our hearts.
