Deborah Faircloth Grandey

Deborah Faircloth Grandey, 75, of Apopka, Florida, passed away from complications of a sudden illness on January 8, 2026.

Debbie’s love of life, travel, and family touched everyone she knew. Her laughter was infectious, her stories epic, and anyone that knew her felt loved and part of her family. She was always there to help any way she could. She volunteered throughout her life and donated generously to causes she believed in. Her kindness, generosity, and friendship will be greatly missed.

Debbie was born August 11, 1950 in Quincy, Florida and is preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Faircloth Jr, her mother Mildred Faircloth, and her father Ralph Faircloth Sr. She is survived by her husband Mike Grandey of Apopka, daughters Katherine Grandey and Jessica Grandey, her grandchildren Ona Grandey, Mae Grandey, Olive Buckley, and Christopher Buckley, her brother Val (Marty) Maxwell, nieces Alison Faircloth, Jennifer Maxwell, and nephews Mike (Chrissy) Maxwell and Trey (Mitra) Faircloth.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Apopka, 441 S. Highland Ave, Apopka FL, on Saturday, January 17, 2026. 10 AM visitation, 11 AM service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the following charities that were close to Debbie’s heart: Meals on Wheels of Central Florida, Next Step Ministry, or Janie’s Fund.
