Carolyn Sue Knight

Carolyn Sue Knight, a beloved mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on September 20, 1952, in Opp, Alabama, Carolyn dedicated her life to nurturing others, spending countless years as a cafeteria worker in the education sector, where her warm smile and kind heart touched many lives.

Carolyn is survived by her two devoted sons, Donald Knight, Jr. and Chad Knight, who will always remember her as a source of unwavering love and support. Her spirit and passion for life will continue to live on in the hearts of those she cared for deeply.

Throughout her life, Carolyn embodied compassion and kindness. She found joy in simple moments and had an innate ability to create a sense of warmth in every gathering. Her legacy of love and care will not be forgotten.

A memorial service will take place at Loomis Funeral Home on January 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM, allowing all who knew and loved Carolyn to come together in remembrance and celebration of her life.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, General Kyser and Lona McInnis.
