Bridgett Denese Hobson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bridgett Denese Hobson, who left us on August 19, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on November 8, 1976, in Eustis, Florida, Bridgett lived a life full of love and dedication, primarily serving as an office manager in the construction industry. Her warm spirit, generous heart, caring nature, and unwavering support touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her. 

Bridgett is survived by her husband, Benjamin Hobson; children, Brennon (Holly) Hobson, Bailey Staats and Hannah (Devin) Fry; grandchildren, Oliver Webb Hobson, Lylah Marie Hobson, Harper Jane Fry and Ellis Elaine Fry; father Michael Odom; step mother Mary Odom; step father David Brewer; nephew, Dalton Odom; niece, Destiny Odom; brothers, Derrick Odom, Trevor Odom, Jesse Brewer and Wesley Brewer; mother-in-law, Jane Hobson; brothers-in-law, Tim Hobson and Mark Hobson; sisters-in-law, Jacque Hobson and Sue Hobson; and many, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Bridgett was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Brewer and sister, Shelby Odom. 

A memorial service will be held to honor Bridgett’s life on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Loomis Funeral Home, Apopka, Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the beautiful memories they shared with Bridgett as they say their final goodbyes. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bridgett’s honor to AdventHealth Cancer Institute (601 E. Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701).

Following the service, there will be a reception at the N.O.C.I.A. Building (4253 W Ponkan Rd, Apopka, FL 32712). Friends and family are invited to enjoy some of Bridgett's favorite foods, tell stories and continue to celebrate her life.
